• Day 1: Arrival at Djerba airport. Depending on your arrival time, you will be offered a visit to the city and the island, a stop at the beach for a swim, a dinner in a local restaurant, and an overnight stay in a hotel.
• Day 2: Departure from Djerba, continuing by car towards central Tunisia, visiting the mountains around Matmata, discovering the troglodyte houses, and an overnight stay.
• Day 3: Arrival in the desert, beginning of the walking excursion, lunch, afternoon break, recreational activities if included, setting up the night camp, and Bedouin dinner.
• The excursion continues for the next two days until reaching the meeting point of the vehicles and transportation to Djerba airport.

This involves about 3/4 hours of easy walking per day with breaks, and you will discover the oasis around Douz, the oldest and largest in Tunisia.

• From 11 to 15 people: 700 euros per head

• Day 1: Arrival at Djerba, transportation by minibus or 4x4, visit to the mountains around Matmata and the troglodyte houses.
• Day 2: Start of the walking excursion with the help of dromedaries. The circuit includes five nights in the desert, discovering a spectacular ever-changing scenery around the oasis of Douz, close to the Sahara desert, among white sand dunes and palm groves.
• You will sleep in a different location each night in a tent and visit the place where the sand roses form until reaching the base camp.
• The journey continues by car, and depending on your return flight time, you may visit a palm grove for date production with a pet farm.
• The guides will explain how the harvesting works, and you will be able to taste the fruits.
• Alternatively, you can visit the salt lake, Chott el Jerid, the largest in North Africa and the second largest in the world, known for its multi-coloured salt crust that makes it truly memorable.
• The journey concludes with transportation by car or minibus to Djerba.

This is relaxed, with about 3/4 hours of walking per day with breaks: visiting the ancient Bedouin village, the sand roses, and reaching the high dunes.

• Day 1: Arrival at Djerba, visit to the mountains around Matmata and the troglodyte houses.
• Six nights in the desert with camping every night in a different location, visiting the ancient Bedouin village, the sand roses, a refreshing shower at a spring well, reaching the high dunes of the desert, and returning to the base camp
• This circuit is great because it combines the strengths of the first two; it allows you to disconnect from everyday life and shows you the beauty of the great Erg, with easy routes across it.
• Once back to the cars, depending on your return flight time, you can choose whether to go to the oasis with date palms and an animal farm or visit Douz.
• In November and December, the famous Sahara Festival takes place, with spectacular events such as camel races and challenges between Bedouin horsemen.
• On request, you can be accompanied to the hammam in Douz to relax or visit the souq, the town market, unique in its kind with local handicrafts and typical products, before departing by car or minibus to Djerba.

The circuit has a more sustained pace with 3 hours of walking in the morning, a lunch break, and 2 or 3 hours of walking in the afternoon, with toilet and drink stops, arriving at the Great Erg and returning.

• Day 1: Arrival at Djerba and arrival at the base camp.
• The circuit is a mix of the second and third; you will spend six nights in the desert with camping every night in a different place, visit the ancient village, search for the sand roses, and reach the Great Erg before returning to the base camp, where you will choose whether to go to the oasis with date palms or visit Douz.

6 DAY PLUS TRIPS (HIGH FITNESS LEVEL NEEDED)

The circuit requires hours of walking in the morning and afternoon with a visit to the Grand Erg up to Bir Tumbaïn, the famous flat mountain of the desert.

• The price is 850 euros per head with a minimum of 6 participants.

• Day 1: Arrival at Djerba, reaching the base camp passing through the mountains and Matmata.
• You depart from Bir Abdalah, arrive at the large dunes, Grand Erg, up to Bir Tumbaïn, and return to Bir Abdalah
• On the last day, you will reach the base camp and be transported by car to Djerba airport.

This is an Intensive circuit includes X hours of walking in the morning and afternoon, over x days starting from the Little Erg to reach the Great Erg. A minimum participation of 6 people is required.
